There was a time when West Indies used to be the most feared team in the world, producing world-class players. They also won the first two 2 editions of the ODI World Cup back in 1975 and 1979. They were also fierce in Test cricket with the likes of legendary cricketers like Viv Richards, Curtley Ambrose, Clive Lloyd and many more in the squad.

However, the tables were turned when India defeated West Indies in the 1983 World Cup final. But the Windies have dominated the Indian team when it comes to Test cricket as both teams faced off in 52 teams in which the Caribbean team won 30 Tests while India managed to win only 22 matches. However, there were many moments when the Indian batters performed brilliantly in West Indies. On that note,

we will take a look at the top 3 Test innings by an Indian batter on Caribbean soil:

1. Wasim Jaffer (212 runs in 2006)
