Michael Chandler poses open challenge to Conor McGregor on Monday Night RAW

WWE and UFC are now branches of the same tree, as Vince McMahon sold WWE to Endeavour, UFC's parent company. Endeavour announced the merger of UFC and WWE, and on September 12, 2023, Endeavour announced TKO Group as the official entity combining WWE and UFC. During this week's Monday Night Raw, Samantha Irvin brought her microphone to the barricade and introduced the Anaheim audience to UFC fighter Michael Chandler.

He has been trying to get a fight with Conor McGregor for a while now, and he simply stole the microphone from her to cut a promo challenging McGregor.This seemed like an 80s commercial, with Chandler shouting his way through it and having far too much fun with it. This is just a preview of the type of crossover we should expect now that the UFC and WWE are under the same TKO banner.

However, it is uncertain whether this means they will finally be able to put together the Chandler vs. McGregor match, since they have had numerous issues with it, with Dana White recently stating that the latter may never fight again. The CCO of WWE Triple H even expressed, “Anything can happen at a TKOGrp takeover.”
