For the first time in the history of the T20 World Cup, the USA will be a co-host alongside the West Indies six months down the line. Notably, the first-ever international game was played in the 1880s between American neighbors, USA and Canada. Once again, the game might come to a full circle as the opening game of the tournament will be played between these teams.
One of the Super Powers of world politics will host 16 games, the nation will also host the Box Office clash between India and Pakistan on June 9. The match will be played at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. However, looking at the stadium's images at this point, the future doesn't look well for the tournament. On the other hand, it is reported that a turnkey state-of-the-art modular stadium will be built for the match.
The USA will host the first 16 matches across three cities - Lauderhill, Dallas, and New York. The action will then shift to the West Indies for the remaining 41 games. Notably, Pakistan has only won one time against India, i.e. in 2021 after playing playing seven games
