Over the years, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has provided cricket fans with some of the sport's most entertaining moments, including high-scoring matches and outstanding individual performances from some of the game's biggest players. Although certain games have seen some of the lowest scores in IPL history, not every game is a nail-biter.

Here are the five lowest team totals in the history of the IPL.

5. 67: MI vs KKR, IPL 2008 and DD vs KXIP, IPL 2017

At the fifth position, two teams tie with 67 run-totals. Firstly, in IPL 2008's MI vs KKR game, KKR kept losing wickets and had trouble forming partnerships. The leading scorers were Sourav Ganguly and Ajit Agarkar, both of whom scored 15 points, as MI's bowlers excelled. As KKR were bowled out for 67 runs in just 15.2 overs, Shaun claimed three wickets.

At the same time, Delhi Daredevils were bowled out for a pitiful total of 67 runs in just 17.1 overs in the DD vs KXIP game in IPL 2017. Losing their openers early, they never really bounced back. Kings XI Punjab's leading destroyer with the ball, Sandeep Sharma, took four wickets for just 20 runs.

4. 66: DD vs MI, IPL 2017

MI scored a whopping 212 runs in their opening innings of play with some clean hitting from Lendl Simmons (66 off 43), Parthiv Patel (25 off 22), and Kieron Pollard (63 off 35). Delhi's reaction saw Sanju Samson depart on the first ball, and the team eventually folded for just 66 in 13.4 overs. By picking up three wickets each, the top two MI bowlers were Harbhajan Singh and Karn Sharma.

3. 59: RR vs RCB, IPL 2023

The Royals have a history of giving up to RCB. In a critical match in 2023, the Royals chased 172 against Jaipur but were eventually bowled out for just 59. Nobody surpassed double digits but Joe Root (10) and Shimron Hetmyer (35), and if it weren't for Hetmyer, the Royals might have recorded the lowest total in IPL history.

2. 58: RR vs RCB, IPL 2009

Anil Kumble, a leg-spinner, claimed five wickets for just five runs in 3.1 overs as Rajasthan, chasing 133, were bowled out for just 58 runs in 17.1 overs. None of their batters could reach double figures except for Tyron Henderson and Yusuf Pathan, who scored 11 runs. Rahul Dravid, who scored 66 runs off just 48 deliveries and was named Man of the Match, helped RCB win the game by 75 runs.

1. 49: RCB vs KKR, IPL 2017
