The five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) are clashing against the defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) in the second qualifier of the Indian Premier League 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday, May 26. The winner will face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the final at the same stadium on Sunday, May 28.

Meanwhile, a video is getting viral on social media in which GT skipper Hardik Pandya can be seen pumping up his players during the team hurdle before the start of the game. Pandya has done a tremendous job in leading GT, however, Pandya looked over-enthusiastic in the video due to which many fans have trolled him a lot.

Knockouts and qualifiers are fun: Rohit Sharma 

Talking about the contest, MI skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to field first. He also talked about the nature of the pitch and said that the surface looks sticky because of the rain. He also said that they feel comfortable while chasing. Hardik said that he also wanted to bowl first, however, he believes that they will have fun while defending the target.

“We are gonna chase. The pitch looks a little sticky. We can make the best use of the pitch. The pitch will get better as the game goes on. It's our comfort, what we want to do. We've chased well this season. This is a different team, we have a lot of new faces in the squad. As a team, we've come across many situations like this. It's important to put your best foot forward. There were a bit of nerves at the start of the tournament, but it's settled now.” Rohit said after winning the toss.

“We would have bowled as well, but it's okay. Knockouts and qualifiers are fun, you have to be on your A-game. It's important to enjoy. If we can play our everything, we'll be satisfied irrespective of the result. I know how the crowd is going to support us. Gujarati people are loyal.” Hardik said after losing the toss.
