Rohit Sharma, the Indian cricket team's captain, and a star batsman, recently made headlines not just for his performance on the field, but for a humorous interaction he had with a fan.
As he made his way into the stadium for the second ODI against Australia in Vizag, he was approached by a fan holding a single rose. Rohit noticed the fan and approached him with a smile. The fan presented him with the rose, and in a lighthearted moment, Rohit jokingly asked if the fan would consider marrying him.
The interaction quickly went viral on social media, with fans and followers of the Indian cricket team sharing their amusement at Rohit's quip. It was heartening to see a player of his stature taking a moment to connect with a fan, and his sense of humor only added to the moment.
However, Rohit's performance on the field during the match was not quite as impressive. India struggled in the first 10 overs of the match, losing 5 wickets for just 51 runs. Rohit, who had made a comeback after missing the first ODI due to personal reasons, could not provide the much-needed stability to the Indian innings, as he was dismissed for just 13 runs.

As for the match, India continues to linger on as Australia bowlers on top in the second match. The Men in Blue someone reached 100 in 22 overs with the loss of 7 wickets.
Mitchell Starc was the most lethal bowler from the Australian side as he took 4 wickets in 7 overs, sending some of the big names from India's side into the pavilion.
Both teams would be looking to win the series and get to a good headspace ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023, scheduled to be held in India.
