Bangladesh young allrounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz produced multiple match-winning performances in the ODI and Test series against India which was concluded last year in December. Hasan helped the team to win the first two ODI matches of the three-match series, he even smashed a hundred in the 2nd match and was named Player of the Series for his brilliant all-round performance.
He also performed brilliantly in the Test series due to which after the series former Indian captain Virat Kohli gifted him a signed jersey and now it is revealed that he has proudly framed the jersey in his home. The picture is now getting viral on social media and fans have showered a lot of love to the young allrounder. It seems that he treasures and has a particular place in his heart for the framed jerseys. Mehidy's decision to exhibit the framed jersey at his home has been praised as a sign of respect for his rival and a show of support for Indian cricket.
Brilliant performance by Mehidy Hasan
Mehidy received praise from both sides of the border for his remarkable performance with the bat in two pivotal games and his match-winning bowling. Particularly impressed by Mehidy's skill and sportsmanship, Virat Kohli gave him a signed jersey as a token of his admiration.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz's outstanding bowling performance during the second Test between Bangladesh and India provided the hosts a ray of hope as he took a triple strike at the end of Day 3, leaving India reeling at 45 for four. The spinner did strike twice more on Day 4, though, to record a match-breaking five-wicket haul, but it was not enough to prevent India from winning the match by three wickets.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz posted a photo of the two of them together along with a lengthy statement thanking Kohli and praising the great batsman. Mehidy captioned the image in his post. “Special souvenir from one of the greatest cricketers, Virat Kohli.”
