Former India skipper Virat Kohli has called out a leading news outlet and claimed that they have published fake news. Apparently, the outlet reported that he and his wife, Anushka Sharma (also happens to be a Bollywood actress and film producer), purchased land in Alibaug. Furthermore, it was reported that a luxurious property would be built.

However, the publication also mentioned that the couple is a nature lover which is why they have asked the briefed their architect to build a minimalistic property, lush with greenery. It is also mentioned that Kohli is looking forward to building a cricket pitch on the place. However, in a fresh Instagram story, the former India skipper took the screenshot and wrote 'Bachpan se jo akhbaar padha hai, wo bhi Fake news chhapne lage ab'

Virat Kohli expresses his admiration for Babar Azam

In the Indian subcontinent, Kohli and Pakistan skipper Babar Azam have often been although the latter has said that there is no comparison between him and Kohli. Meanwhile, in a video by Star Sports, the former India skipper said that he has a lot of regard and respect for Azam from the day they met.

The two-time World Champion added that he was asked by Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim to meet the current Pakistan skipper during the ODI World Cup 2019.

"The first interaction I had with him was during the 2019 World Cup after the game in Manchester," Kohli recalled in the interview filmed last year.

"I've known Imad since the Under-19 World Cup, and he said Babar wanted to have a chat.

"We sat down and spoke about the game. I saw a lot of regard and respect from him from day one, and that hasn't changed," Kohli said. "Regardless of the fact he's probably the top batsman in the world across formats, and rightly so.

"Performs so consistently and I've always enjoyed watching him play," Kohli added.
