Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) kept their playoff hopes alive in the Indian Premier League 2023 by defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR) by a huge margin of 112 runs on their home ground Sawai Mansingh Stadium. RCB are currently standing in the 5th position in the points table with 12 points in 12 matches and now they have 2 matches more to play in which they will aim to win both contests.

Meanwhile, former RCB captain Virat Kohli was spotted doing bowling practice ahead of RCB vs Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) clash. However, fans took no time to react to the picture and came up with hilarious reactions. Some of the fans were reminded of Kohli’s expensive over against Albie Morkel in which he conceded 28 runs. However, it’d be interesting to see Kohli bowling again in the cash-rich league.

Will SRH spoil the party for RCB?

SRH only have 8 points after 12 games, which prevents them from making the IPL 2023 playoffs. Even if they win both of their remaining games, they can only increase their point total to 12, which is insufficient to advance to the next round. Hyderabad, who they will face next, can ruin the fun for a few teams, including RCB. Bangalore still has two games left to play this season, but a loss to SRH on Thursday night can really hurt their hopes.

Meanwhile, Kohli and some RCB players recently visited Mohammed Siraj’s house as the whole team is in Hyderabad currently. Other RCB players like Michael Bracewell, Josh Hazlewood, and Kedar Jadhav, as well as members of the coaching staff, including head coach Sanjay Bangar, can be seen in images the team uploaded from the dinner.

Fans praised the relationship that Siraj acknowledges and shares with Kohli. Along with spending some of his formative years with RCB playing for Kohli as captain, Siraj made his international debut in a T20I match against New Zealand at Rajko, India, in 2017.
