Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was involved in a terrible car accident in December of last year while en route to Rourkee to surprise his mother. Despite this, Pant is making a full recovery. Pant is currently at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) rehabilitating from the terrible accident he survived last year. He is working hard to get back to full health as soon as possible.

The 25-year-old had to have three significant surgeries and is now basically out of the rest of the year's competitive cricket. The wicket-keeper has been giving updates on his recuperation on social media, and this time he posted a video of himself climbing stairs without help. It might be challenging sometimes to do simple things, Pant said as he captained his job. While the first video shows Pant struggling to climb the stairs, the second shows the wicketkeeper batter looking lean, smiling, and climbing the steps without any assistance.

Not bad yaar Rishabh. Simple things can be difficult sometimes: Rishabh Pant posted on Instagram

How much time will take Rishabh Pant to recover fully?

Since his accident, the wicket-keeping batter has undergone a number of surgeries, one of which was particularly critical and was performed in Mumbai to repair ligament damage to his right knee. The Director of Cricket for Delhi Capitals previously provided information on Pant's recuperation and stated that it could take the batter up to two years to return to international play.

However, during his recovery phase, Pant was often seen attending DC’s games in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. He also had a talking session with young kids at NCA Bangalore and motivated them to pursue a career in cricket.

"The boys who are part of the Under-16 high-performance camp at NCA Bangalore had the opportunity to interact with Rishabh Pant on cricket, life, hard work, and much much more. It was very generous of Rishabh Pant to spare time for interacting with these young boys," the Indian Cricket Board tweeted.
