Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma generally remains calm on the field. But it has been seen many times that he loses his temper under pressure. Rohit was seen getting angry even while captaining the Indian team. Now Rohit's anger has been seen in the Indian Premier League 2023 as well during Mumbai Indians' (MI) clash against the defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) on Tuesday, April 25.

MI experienced leg-spinner Piyush Chawla made a mistake in the match against GT. Riley Meredith bowled a yorker in the third ball of the 17th over. GT batter Abhinav Manohar somehow managed to play it and the ball went to Piyush Chawla fielding at short third man. The ball was in his hands but he could not stop it and went for a four outside the boundary line.

Rohit got angry at this bad fielding of Piyush and his anger was on 7th heaven. He started shouting looking at Piyush. While the leg-spinner was very disappointed with this and he was looking towards the sky. The pictures of the incident is getting viral on social and many fans are trolling Rohit for being disrespectful to the veteran leg-spinner.

A brilliant all-round performance by GT

Batting first against Mumbai Indians in this Indian Premier League match, Gujarat Titans scored 207 runs for six wickets. Shubman Gill scored the highest 56 runs for Gujarat Titans. David Miller scored 46 and Abhinav Manohar scored 42 runs for the team. Piyush took two wickets for 34 runs for Mumbai Indians. Mumbai bowlers have given 200+ runs for the second consecutive match. In the last match against Punjab, Mumbai bowlers were badly beaten.

GT have now amassed 10 points after their fifth victory in their last seven games. With only the net run rate separating them from the table-toppers Chennai Super Kings (CSK), they moved up from fourth to second place. On the other hand, MI are in the 7th position in the points table with 6 points in the 7 matches they have played so far in the current season.
