India’s second-string cricket side is currently in Hangzhou, China. Ruturaj Gaikwad’s side won the gold medal in the ongoing Asian Games 2023. They played Afghanistan in the final of the Asian Games. Due to rain, the match was washed out and the Indian team was awarded the gold medal due to a pre-decided rule in the event. They got bye directly to the quarterfinals as they ranked higher alongside, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.

There is a 20% chance of precipitation in Chennai, but fans hope to see a full 50-over match.
