The five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) are clashing against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 63rd match of the Indian Premier League 2023 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihar Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Tuesday, May 16. MI is currently standing in the 3rd position with 14 points while LSG is just behind them with 13 points in the points table.
Meanwhile, an image of MI skipper Rohit Sharma is getting viral on social media in which he can be seen doing bowing practice ahead of their clash against LSG. Rohit has failed to produce anything special with his bat in the tournament so far, so it can be believed that he might try to bowl and get some wickets. However, fans have given different reactions to the picture on Twitter.
Talking about the match, MI won the toss and opted to bowl first. A win tonight will bring both teams somewhat near to the qualification margin, but it won’t ensure a position in the playoffs. And with any luck, tonight’s winner will have a better chance of placing in the top two as well.
Will MI get their first win against LSG?
However, MI’s record against LSG in the past is very embarrassing as they are yet to defeat the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL and they will give their everything to get it before the playoffs. LSG prevailed in both of their meetings with them last season. Both times, by 18 and 36 runs, respectively, while defending.

We know what to expect from the pitch, looks like a good track but not sure how it is gonna play, so better to have a score in front of us. We are up for the challenge.
