It's only February and the Indian cricket fraternity has already seen three of their players get married. KL Rahul got married to Bollywood celebrity Athiya Shetty in January, while all-rounder Axar Patel got married to his childhood love last month. It's now time for Shardul Thakur to get married as videos of his wedding celebrations has been going viral on the internet.

The cute couple reportedly intended to get married in Goa in 2021, the same year they were engaged, but for reasons that are yet unknown, they opted to postpone their plans. According to a number of media sources, the couple postponed their Goa wedding because it was challenging to travel due to limitations brought in by the Covid-19 epidemic.

Shardul was recently spotted dancing with his friends and family to the well-known Bollywood song "Jhingaat" at the Haldi ceremony. Fans gushed over Mitali's stunning look with Mehendi on her hands and Shardul's dashing appearance in his traditional kurta in videos and photographs of the event that were posted on social media.

Who all will attend Shardul Thakur's wedding in Mumbai on February 27?

Shardul and Mithali's wedding is only expected to have a small number of attendees. It is quite doubtful that Shardul's colleagues will attend the wedding in Mumbai because they are too busy getting ready for the third Test match for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.

India has already retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after winning the first Two tests comfortably. India would be looking to win the third Test as well and look to confirm their spot in the Test Championship final which is set to be played out this June. Shardul might be part of the squad for the Test Championship final since he has a great record in England (where the final is set to be played) and can play the role of an all-rounder in the team.
