Uttar Pradesh player Rinku Singh has made his debut in the ongoing first T20I against Ireland. He has played domestic cricket heavily and the IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders since 2018. Talking about his domestic T20 cricket, Singh made his debut in 2014 for his state side. Since then, he has played 89 games including 31 IPL games. In this, the left-hander has amassed 1768 runs averaging 30.48 including 10 fifties.

Talking about his IPL career, the 25-year-old has 725 runs averaging 36.25 including four fifties. Not to forget, he had a breakout season this year as he scored 474 runs in 14 games at an average of 59.25 including four fifties. Alongside Singh, Prasidh Krishna, who made his debut in ODI cricket a few years back, is also making his debuts.

"Feels good to be back. You obviously expect great cricket when you come here. As a fast bowler I would want the wickets to be a little helpful but lets see what happens. We've got two debutants. Rinku Singh and Prasidh Krishna. I've told them to enjoy the game and have fun," standing skipper Jasprit Bumrah said at the toss.
