'Kuch toh accha hua'- Fans react as Sachin Tendulkar remains mentor of MI despite leaving rumours

There has been chaos after the five-time IPL champions announced Hardik Pandya as the captain. Since then the fans have slammed the franchise for the decision to remove their most successful skipper Rohit Sharma from the leadership roles.

Sachin Tendulkar is the greatest cricketer of all time. Tendulkar is the only batter to score 100 international hundreds and score over 34,000 international runs. He has been with the Indian Premier League (IPL) side Mumbai Indians (MI), he captained the side as well till 2012 and retired in 2013 winning the trophy in the last season. Since then he has been associated with the franchise as a mentor to the side. There were speculations that the star batter was leaving the mentorship of the franchise, but there was no confirmation from the franchise or the man himself. 

There has been chaos after the five-time IPL champions announced Hardik Pandya as the captain. Since then the fans have slammed the franchise for the decision to remove their most successful skipper Rohit Sharma from the leadership roles. They also have lost some followers as well in social media. Due to this reason, there were rumours of Sachin leaving the side as well.

Hardik was traded back to MI from Gujarat Titans (GT) in an all-cash deal of 15 crore INR. He was brought in by the franchise that he will be leading the side otherwise he will not be coming back into the side. There were cryptic Instagram stories from the teammates of MI, with likes of Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah.
