The new bat sticker of MS Dhoni has become a hot topic ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. As the captain of Chennai Super Kings, Dhoni appears to be gearing up for his final cricketing moments, displaying 'Prime Sports' on his bat as a gesture of gratitude to his supporters. Paramjit Singh, the brand's owner, praised Dhoni's gesture, calling it a symbol of friendship. This act of appreciation has garnered attention even from Australian cricket legends Michael Hussey and Adam Gilchrist.

Apart from Prime Sports, MS Dhoni has also expressed his gratitude towards 'Beat All Sports', a prominent sports manufacturing company in India. Somi Kohli who is the owner of the company has disclosed that during the 2019 World Cup, the former wicket keeper batter chose not to charge any fees for displaying the BAS logo on his bat. Throughout the tournament, Dhoni proudly showcased stickers from BAS and SS, marking his last appearance in Indian colors. Kohli revealed that Dhoni declined monetary benefits out of pure goodwill before the World Cup.

"Dhoni did not mention any money. He just said 'put your stickers on my bats and send them across'. I tried to convince him, 'You're letting go of such a lucrative contract'. He refused crores of rupees worth of contract. I requested his wife Sakshi, his father, mother. Even told his CA and Paramjit from Ranchi. They all went to his home before the World Cup. But he said 'No… it is my decision'," Kohli said in a video going viral on Twitter for Sports Launchpad YT.

I saw him hitting some balls in the nets: Adam Gilchrist

With the IPL 2024 approaching, there's immense excitement surrounding MS Dhoni's bid for a record sixth title with the Chennai Super Kings. The former Indian skipper has commenced training, and a recent video showcasing the sticker on his bat has sparked interest among cricket enthusiasts. Dhoni displayed the "Prime Sports" sticker, owned by his friend Paramjit Singh from Ranchi. This detail grabbed the attention of legendary Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist, who discussed it during commentary alongside compatriot Michael Hussey in the second T20I between Australia and West Indies.

"I saw him hitting some balls in the nets, MS Dhoni. There's a new bat sticker on his bat. Just a local sports store of one of his schoolmates. Whack the company name on your bat just to give a boost to sales," the legendary wicket keeper batter said.
