New rules inducted in Pakistan dressing room

Pakistan is currently touring Australia for a three-match Test series. The Men in Green had a hefty loss in the 1st Test of 360 runs. There were several backlashes after the side. In the second Test the bowlers performed superbly they bowled in both innings. But their batters failed in the second test and they are trailing by 241 runs in the 2nd Test after the end of play on day 3.

The Pakistan team had undergone a massive change before the test series Babar Azam stepped down from the captaincy role and Shan Masood was named as the captain for the longest format of the game. Mohammad Hafeez took on the role of the team’s new director. The former Pakistan skipper has introduced new and strict rules for the cricketers. He has inducted, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with a zero-tolerance policy on inactivity, including a $500 fine for players caught sleeping in the dressing room.

According to recent developments, a few players who were not part of the playing XI took a nap in the dressing room. The players have been instructed by the management to just sleep in the hotel. If players are spotted sleeping on the stadium grounds, they will be fined $500.

Pakistan misery continues in Australia

Pakistan team are yet to win a Test match in Australia since 1995 and their dream might be over as well in the second Test. They have been on the back foot and might lose the second match and the series as well. They will next play New Zealand in a 5-match T20I series.

Previously he was involved in a heated exchange with former English captain Michael Vaughan. Hafeez said, "Better stop peeping into other’s problems and sort out our disputes first. We have sizeable insight into our issues and will surely resolve them. @MichaelVaughan."  They set aside their recent social media banter as they shared a friendly selfie during the first Test between Australia and Pakistan at Optus Stadium in Perth.
