Mohammed Shami, who had a sensational ODI World Cup 2023, became the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, picking up 24 wickets in 7 matches. The bowler performed superbly for the Men in Blue in the mega event. Now, he took a different role by saving a person in Nanital. The 33-year-old pacer's comeback is an inspiring story and he has gained a lot of support from the Indian fans.
Shami took to social media late Saturday night to share a video of a person, who was involved in an accident. He stated that he and others in the vehicle got the guy out of the car before it drove downhill, preventing a serious incident.
He was also in Nainital at the time of the tragedy. He revealed that the individual's car had crashed downhill and in front of Shami's vehicle. The pacer reacted quickly enough to save the person's life.

He captioned the posting on Instagram, "He's so lucky god gave him 2nd life. His car fall down from the hill road near Nanital just in front of my car. We took him out very safely."
Meanwhile, In a recent interview, he stated, "I like travelling, fishing. I like driving a lot. I like driving bike and cars. But after playing for India, I have stopped driving bikes. What if I get injured? I drive bike on highways, may be sometimes in village when I go to meet my mom."
"Zameen se hi aaya hu. Kheto ki jo booghi hoti hai, I have driven tractor, bus, trucks. I have driven bus in truck. One of my school friends had a truck in his house. He told me to drive. I was small then and was driving on a ground. I drove our tractor into the pond too. My father scolded me."
India is currently playing Australia in a 5-match T20I series and they won the first game while chasing a target of 209 runs.
