Ravindra Jadeja and father conflict

Ravindra Jadeja is one of the finest all-rounders of this generation. The star all-rounder has been one of the crucial members of India across all formats. He is currently part of the Test team that is hosting England and played a role in the 1st Test, though he missed the 2nd game he will be returning to the side for the 3rd Test. But ahead of the squad announcement, Jadeja's father Anirudhsinh Jadeja has claimed that his relationship with his son has changed drastically since the Team India all-rounder's marriage to Rivaba.

Anirudhsing believes Rivaba for creating a rift between the family. He also stated that he regrets making his son a cricketer. Their family would be in a much better place had he not gotten his son married to Rivaba. Jaddu's wife contested the Gujarat Assembly Elections for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2022 for the Jamnagar (north) seat. On the other hand, the star all-rounder's sister Naynaba, is associated with the Congress party.

The veteran all-rounder has also reacted to his father's interview with the Gujarati media. He believes that the interview taken is fully scripted and no such thing has been said by his father on his own.

I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra and his wife: Anirudhsinh Jadeja

Jaddu's father said, "Do you want me to tell you one truth? I have absolutely no relation with Ravindra and his wife, Rivaba. We don't call them, and they don't call us. The issues started after two or three months of their marriage. I currently live alone in Jamnagar, while Ravindra resides in a separate bungalow of his own. He lives in the same city, but I don't get to see him. I don't know what magic his wife has done on him."

"He is my son, and it burns my heart. I wish I hadn't gotten him married. It would have been better if he hadn't become a cricketer. We would not have to go through all this in that case."

The 35-year-old in reply said, "I don't trust these agenda-peddling news sites which have nothing to do other than defaming our cricketers. Will choose to not fall for them the way they post fabricated and manipulated news."
