India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant posted a cryptic Instagram story on November 25. He has been away from the game since meeting with a near-fatal accident on December 30 last year. For the first few months, Pant was under observation and a bed rest. In the last few months, the left-hander has started training and is expected to play in the Ranji Trophy.
Meanwhile, the former India U19 player posted an Instagram story that reads, "No more forcing friendships or relationships. Either it flows or it goes."
Rishabh Pant's participation confirmed in IPL 2024
Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals' Team Director and former India skipper Sourav Ganguly has confirmed that Pant will play in the IPL 2024.
"He's (Pant) good now. He will play in the IPL next season," Ganguly told reporters in Kolkata on November 10.
"Rishabh won't be practicing here (Kolkata) though. There's still time for him to get down to practice. By January (2024), he'll get even better," Ganguly said.
"We were talking about the team. He is the captain, so he put in his views regarding the upcoming auction. That's the reason he has come here (Kolkata), to finalize certain aspects related to the team," he added.
On the other hand, the 2020 finalists have declared their list of retained and released players ahead of the player auction.
