Australian Women’s Cricket team have their backs against the wall in Mumbai. At the end of the 3rd day, the visitors were just 46 runs ahead with just five wickets left. Team India are on the course to yet another famous test victory to keep their enviable streak alive.

Just last week the Indian women’s side had thrashed the English eves by a huge margin. It was a fabulous win which shows the coming of age of the Indian Women’s Test team. Harmanpreet Kaur has been fabulous with the way she has led the side in both these games.

There was high drama right at the end of the third day’s play. Harmanpreet Kaur and Alyssa Healy were in the thick of action. At one point there massive show of emotions as the Indian skipper appealed for ‘Obstruction Of Field’.

Gripping rivalry on show in Mumbai –

Alyssa Healy was facing the bowling of Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur in the 80th over. The shrewd Indian legend spotted Healy out of her crease after playing the ball. This gave Harmanpreet a chance to aim at the stumps.

Just like any batter would do, Healy put her bat up so that she doesn’t get hit by the throw. Team India's skipper turned around and put up a frantic appeal to the officials to rule Alyssa Healy out. As per Harmanpreet Kaur, she was attempting to run out the opposition batter and wanted her out for ‘Obstruction of Field’.

The match officials though did not heed to the protests from Harmanpreet Kaur. The final decision went in favor of the Australian skipper who was trying to shield herself. There was more to come though as the drama did not end.

Aussie veteran Alyssa Healy tried to sweep Harmanpreet Kaur attempted a sweep and missed the line of the ball. The Indian team went up for an appeal in unison and the umpire deemed it fit to give it out. It was a timely wicket for the Indians who were getting frustrated with Healy’s dour defense to deny the Indians a wicket.
