WATCH: India and South Africa captains enjoy their time during pre-series photoshoot

Ahead of the three-match T20I series between South Africa and India, skippers, Aiden Markram and Suryakumar Yadav respectively were seen enjoying themselves during the photo shoot. The video and photoshoot saw both captains getting a taste of local culture. At this point, it is summer in South Africa and it's time for cricket to be played at home.

Meanwhile, talking about both T20I teams, they have rested a few players from their ODI World Cup 2023 teams. While the home side has rested a few players, about half of the players from the ODI WC team have been rested for the series. Both teams are looking forward to the two-match Test series.

While the home team wants to maintain their unbeaten record, the Asian side wants to win in a country in which they are yet to win a Test series. One can count South Africa as the final frontier. Also, the Proteas will start their campaign in the ongoing World Test Championship 2023-25. On the other hand, India played two Tests in the Caribbean, winning one and one ending in a draw.
