Sachin Sachin… is the sound that reverberates in the ears and hearts of many Indians to date even though the little maestro retired from cricket more than a decade ago. India has had a rich legacy of batting wonders from Vijay Merchant to Sunil Gavaskar to now Virat Kohli but the name that is close to millions of cricket fans and which gave India a belief that we can be best in world cricket is that of Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar recently went on a trip to scenic Kashmir where his many photos and videos went viral but one video of him which is currently breaking the internet is of him playing cricket with some of the locals in Gulmarg.

Tendulkar’s love for Kashmir willow bats
Those who have been ardent fans of Sachin Tendulkar know his affection relationship with Kashmir willow bats and what it means for him. For a batter, a cricket bat holds a special place in his heart and it is his weapon that gives him joy and brings all the glory for him.
Sachin Tendulkar's first cricket bat was a Kasmir willow bat which his sister gave to him when he was a child and didn’t start professional cricket. It was his first taste of a proper cricket bat which is why it holds a special place in his heart.
It is why when Sachin recently went to Kashmir, he paid a visit to a prominent Kashmir willow bat factory where he checked some Kashmir willow bats that he liked. He even shared his relationship with Kashmir willow bats. Check out the video here:
