Vrinda Dinesh was born on March 02, 2001 in Karnataka. Vrinda is known for his explosive batting. She has been reaching new heights for the past two years in the threads of Karnataka. She has a blood of cricket running in her as her father, uncle, and cousin are all playing the sport at the club level. Father S Dinesh and brother Rajath played club cricket while uncle Bharath Bhushan represented Karnataka at the U-19 and U-22 levels. The 22-year-old batter is very hard to ignore when it comes to being consistent in the women’s circuit. Vrinda did not make the cut for the ACC Emerging Teams Cup initially but being brought in as a replacement for S Yashasri, Vrinda made her first appearance in the tournament in the grand finale.

Vrinda Dinesh sold to UPW 

She played a key role in Karnataka’s run to the final of the Senior Women’s ODI trophy earlier in the year, scoring 477 runs in 11 innings at an average of 47.70 which was also inclusive of an all-important 81 against Rajasthan. Vrinda made a name for herself in the ODI format, Vrinda now has her eyes set on announcing her name in the shortest format of the game. She also bowls leg-spin and the U-23 year batter scored 36 runs off 29 balls on a difficult wicket in the Asia Cup against Bangladesh. 

In the WPL auction, she was sold to UP Warrioz in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction for 1.3 crore INR. So far she is the highest paid uncapped player in the current edition of the auction.
