After the successful inaugural season of the Women's Premier League early this year, the player auction of the 2024 season has just concluded. In the first season, Mumbai Indians won the title, beating Delhi Capitals and carrying the legacy of their Men's counterpart. On the other hand, the likes of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Giants, and UP Warriorz failed to reach the playoffs.
Last season's finalists spent the least amount of money while the Giants spent the most money as they were looking forward to fresh faces. On the other hand, despite not having the best season, RCB and UP decided not to let go of their core players.
