Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi had a dream debut in the ongoing The Hundred 2023. Playing for Welsh Fire against Manchester Original, it was a rain-curtailed game which was reduced to 40-balls (eight overs as five balls complete one over in the competition). Meanwhile, in the second innings, Afridi started the innings with two back-to-back wickets. However, in his second over, he was hit for four fours.

Despite this, the Cardiff-based side, Welsh managed to win this game. With this, they managed to win their first game after the 2021 season. After the game, Afridi spoke to commentators and spoke about his bowling. The commentators consist of Ian Ward, Dinesh Karthik, and recently retired Stuart Broad. Karthik was standing between Afridi and Broad, the tallest guys in the panel.

The video of the conversation between these men has been going viral. Karthik retweeted the video and wrote "I feel you @BenDuckett1," taking a dig at his own height and Ben Duckett's height. This tweet has been made in context to a viral picture of Duckett with Zak Crawley and Broad.

Shaheen Afridi is one of my favorites bowlers to watch: Stuart Broad

Notably, the former England cricketer recently said that Afridi is his favorite bowler to watch. The former added that Afridi has the natural skills.

"Shaheen Shah Afridi is one of my favorite bowlers to watch in the world. He's got such a presence about him when he runs in, and I love to see bowlers run in with energy and vibrancy to their run up," Cricket Pakistan quoted Broad as saying.

"He's got such a natural skill - the way that ball swings back into the right-handers is such a pleasure to watch. And he represented the Notts Outlaws this summer, which is close to my heart. He's one of the bowlers I admire hugely, and I want to see him do well," he added.
