A controversial incident happened in a match in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) on Tuesday (January 31) when Naseem Shah was seen making fun of Azam Khan. The video of this incident has now gone viral on social media. Some cricket fans are terming this act of Naseem Shah as wrong, while some are adoring the cuteness of Naseem Shah.

Khulna Tigers and Comilla Victorians took on each other in BPL on Tuesday. The Tigers were asked to bat first after losing the toss. Tamim Iqbal was dismissed on the first ball of the last over of the innings. Then wicket-keeper batter Azam Khan came onto the field.

As soon as Azam reached near the pitch, first Naseem Shah deliberately collided with him. After this, when Azam pushed him away, Naseem Shah started laughing and then followed him and imitated Azam's walk. Naseem Shah did this act to provoke Azam, but he did not lose his temper and took his team past 200 by scoring 12 runs in 4 balls of the last over.

Comilla amazingly chased the huge target

Asked to bat first, Comilla’s new skipper, Shai Hope led from the front as he was involved in the highest partnership of the tournament with Tamim. He walked out at number three and was the more fluid of the two. Tamim was happy to play second fiddle to his skipper and together the pair complemented each other perfectly. Just unfortunate that the duo could not get to their respective hundreds. Nonetheless, they have put up a massive score in a must-win game and it is now up to their bowlers to defend.

Chasing the target, the Victorians started badly with Litton Das forced to retire hurt and Imrul Kayes followed him soon. Mohammad Rizwan was the early enforcer as Johnson Charles took his time to get going, but once he did, Khulna didn't know what hit them.

Fours and sixes rained as Sylhet watched an innings of high quality. 210 wasn't an easy score to chase, but the Victorians made it look small. The pair added 122 for the third wicket and then Charles ensured that he held on till the end, finishing off the match in style. He scored a hundred off just 53 balls and helped the team win the match by 7 wickets.
