Shubman Gill, with his amazing batting skills, helped India to win the 3rd and final T20I against New Zealand. In Ahmedabad, while batting first India posted a mammoth total of 234/4. Gill scored 126 runs off 63 balls. In his record-breaking innings, Gill broke Virat Kohli’s record for the highest number of individual runs by an Indian in a T20I innings.
Meanwhile, a video of 23-year-old Gill with wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is going viral on social media. In the video, Kishan can be seen slapping and mocking Gill, while Chahal is watching it quietly. Kishan even jumped on the bed with shoes. The video seems to be shot after the 3rd T20I.
This is a spoof video of an iconic scene from the reality show "Roadies". Shubman Gill shared a video on his Instagram account with the caption “Recreated my favourite moment of Roadies Reloaded”. In the video, Kishan asked Gill to have intensity. Reacting to it Gill jumps to show his passion and intensity which failed to impress Chahal and Kishan. After that, to tease him, Ishan starts barking and jumps over Gill and asks him to slap himself.
Gill eventually slaps himself but again fails to impress Kishan. Kishan then slaps Gill and asks him to do it with more intensity, gill obeys and finally Kishan gets satisfied. During the whole incident, Chahal can be seen enjoying himself. Notably, Kishan, Gill, and Chahal are fond of making reels.
“This is his only contribution”, Fans troll Ishan Kishan
Reacting to the video fans trolled wicketkeeper-batter for not performing in the series. After scoring a double century against Bangladesh last year Kishan failed to find his rhythm back. In fact, In his last 14 T20I innings, Kishan has failed to score a single half-century. Talking about the video a fan wrote, "Only contribution of Ishan Kishan against Newzealand."
