'Ek aur Oscar aaega desh mein' - 'RRR' star Ram Charan expresses his wish to play Virat Kohli in latter's biopic

RRR actor Ram Charan has expressed his desire to play former India skipper Virat Kohli in the latter's biopic. The former's RRR movie song, Naatu Naatu song has won an Oscar. This was the first time in the history of Indian cinema that a song or a movie had won a prestigious award. Meanwhile, the veteran actor Ram spoke about playing Kohli.

He said that he would like to play a role of a sportsperson and it has been a long due. Ram added that Virat is an inspiring soul. The renowned Telegu actor added that if given a chance, he will take it with both hands and he feels he looks similar to the 2008 U19 World Cup winning captain.

“I would like to play anything to do with sport. It’s been a long due. Maybe a sports-based film,”

“Fantastic, he is an inspiring soul. I think given a chance, it will be fantastic as I look similar also,” Charan said in a conversation during India Today Conclave 2023.

Notably, Ram's statements came after the Delhi player was caught on camera recreating the Naatu-2 dance during the first ODI against Australia.

Meanwhile, the fans are excited after listening to Ram's statement.
