Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) by 5 wickets at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 30. CSK now have won the title for the 5th time in IPL history and have also equalled Mumbai Indians (MI) in terms of winning the IPL trophy for the most number of times.

Meanwhile, a video of a funny banter between CSK's bowling coach Dwayne Bravo, and MI's batting coach Kieron Pollard is getting viral on social media. Bravo, who played an important role this season for the Men in Yellow as a bowling coach, made fun of his best friend Pollard and said that CSK are now the most successful team in the history of the cash-rich league. Bravo himself posted the video of their banter on his Instagram account which went viral within hours.

"Can someone help me settle this debate @kieron.pollard55 believes that his team is the most successful IPL team @chennaiipl is the most successful IPL team. Furthermore, he @kieron.pollard55 wants to talk about trophies @kieron.pollard55 you are still on #15 #sirchampion," Bravo wrote in the caption.

Bravo and Pollard's never-ending banter

With a boast that he had been experiencing the thrill for three years, Pollard jokingly asked Bravo how it felt to have five IPL championships. As one of the Mumbai Indians' greatest players, Pollard participated in all 5 of the team's championship victories. Pollard objected to the comparison, but Bravo brought CSK's two Champions League victories to support his claim that CSK is the most successful IPL team.

Bravo then brought up his individual achievements and mentioned his 17 T20 championships, claiming Pollard only has two more. Bravo was mocked by Pollard, who pointed out that the senior all-rounder had been playing cricket with players like Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh since the early 2000s.
