Numerous celebrities showed up in style for the grand inauguration function of the Nita Ambani Cultural Centre. The inauguration event was commemorated with The Great Indian Musical, a musical play that chronicles the path of India by means of Indian dance, drama, music, and art.

Guests at the glittering affair included celebrities from Bollywood, politics, and cricket. Yuvraj Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, and Sachin Tendulkar arrived at the event. Tendulkar, the former Team India cricketer, attended the occasion alongside his family and appeared sharp in an aqua pinstriped suit. Anjali and Sara, their daughter, looked spectacular as well. The family smiled at the photographers, and their presence captivated the audience.

Sanjana Ganesan and Jasprit Bumrah attended the occasion as well. Bumrah's all-black outfit made him look dapper, and Sanjana looked stunning along with him while wearing a yellow saree. The couple looked extremely good and professional while attending the event in Mumbai along with other celebrities.

Where is Bumrah and how well is his recovery going?

The 29-year-old Bumrah missed the full Indian T20 League and the final of the Test Championship against Australia in June due to back surgery he had earlier this year in New Zealand.

Since withdrawing from the nation's white-ball series against South Africa in late September of last year, due to a stress response in his lower back, Bumrah has not played in any cricket matches. He tried to make a return in January this year for the home series against Sri Lanka, however, it didn't work out because of back ailments.

According to reports, the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, along with the Indian Cricket Board’s medical team, had been treating Bumrah's condition urgently and had recommended surgery as a possible solution. The Indian Cricket Board, in collaboration with the National Cricket Academy and Bumrah, decided to have the operation.

Bumrah's lengthy wait has been frustrating as he has made several comeback attempts since sustaining the injury to his back last August, which prevented him from competing in the Asia Cup. Bumrah was selected for India's 20-20 World Cup team in September as, at first, it didn't seem like a severe injury. Bumrah even participated in the final two T20Is of the Australia series on September 23 and 25, showing his level of endurance.
