One of the greatest players to have graced the sport of cricket MS Dhoni is currently playing a historic game in the Indian Premier League 2023. CSK skipper Dhoni is making his 200th appearance as the leader of the Yellow Army in the cash-rich league in the match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

The former Indian captain is the first player in IPL history to lead a single franchise in 200 games. CSK skipper Dhoni disclosed that Chennai has made two key alterations to their playing XI for the home game against Rajasthan after winning the toss and electing to bowl first.

In addition, the 41-year-old also made a hilarious comment on the weather in Chennai. He also said that the climate was no longer hot and humid and compared it to Switzerland.

"We will bowl first. It may be slightly on the slower side, different from the first game. Dew may play a role and it might get better in the second innings. (On his 200th game as CSK captain in the IPL) It feels good and also I feel the crowd has been fantastic. Also, the fact that we started in the old stadium, it was very hot and humid. But now it feels like we're playing in Switzerland. It's good to play. We have seen cricket change - how T20 was played at that point of time till now, a lot has changed. The crowd has been fantastic. We have had injury concerns and players were unavailable, but still, we have done well. Mitchell Santner and Pretorius make way for Theekshana and Moeen," CSK skipper Dhoni told former India head coach Ravi Shastri at the toss.

Dhoni has captained in the world's richest T20 league in 214 matches. CSK captain is followed by MI captain Rohit Sharma, who has guided the five-time winners in 146 games. Virat Kohli, the former captain of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), has captained the Bangalore heavyweights in 140 matches. Earlier, CSK legend Dhoni became the eighth player in IPL history to reach 5,000 runs. In 238 IPL appearances, the Ranchi veteran has scored 5,004 runs.
