It is a huge Sunday for Football fans as they will witness the finals of the Carabao Cup. Wembley stadium will play host to the amazing match between Chelsea and Liverpool for the first domestic prize of the season.
Chelsea haven’t had a great season so far and are far off the places to reach European Football. Manager Mauricio Pochettino has seen his seen get ravaged with one injury after another.
Liverpool on the other hand are top of the English Premier League. Jurgen Klopp has already announced he is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season. With Arsenal and Manchester City breathing down their neck, the Merseysiders know they have a fight on their hands.
Carabao Cup final set for epic clash-
Former Premier League winners Chelsea and Liverpool FC will fight for the Carabao Cup when they meet on Sunday. It is a huge game for Chelsea in particular who are struggling in the league in the 10th place.
Mauricio Pochettino while speaking to the media ahead of the game had a word for the match officials. The Chelsea Manager said “I am the first who is going to say that Liverpool are amazing. Klopp is one of the best coaches in the world. I think after my last experience of playing at Anfield, what I want in Wembley is to play a game at the same level and let the best team win”
As many as 8 Chelsea players are doubtful for the game on Sunday. The London-based side are still without defenders Thiago Silva and Benoit Badashile who have been injured. Liverpool are still not confident about the fitness of Mohammad Salah and Darwin Nunez. The likes of Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander Arnold, Dominik Szoboslai, and six other stars are doubtful for the game.
