Kylian Mbappe to FC Barcelona?
Kylian Mbappe is arguably the best footballer currently. The France forward is known for his fierce pace and goal-scoring abilities. Mbappe has surpassed many records in his short footballing career so far. He is playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the French top-division league. The winger was seen in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) Round of 16 match against Real Sociedad as he surpassed his former teammate Neymar's record for scoring most Champions League goals. He has scored 44 goals in 68 appearances.
But the 25-year-old French winger has declared that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season. That means that he might join Real Madrid the forward previously was linked with the Los Blancos but he did not join in the end, which created havoc in the footballing fraternity. As he will be a free agent there will be several clubs except Madrid that will try to acquire his service. FC Barcelona is one such club that might try and get the young winger as they are in desperate need of a pacy winger like him.
Is Arsenal eyeing for Mbappe?
Though the club has financial problems, Joan Laporta might be eyeing for a chance to get him from their arch-rivals. There have been reports that he might also join English Premier League clubs as two clubs have also shown interest, Arsenal and Manchester United. He might join the Gunners as his footballing idol Thierry Henry has been a legend for the club and he can follow his steps as well.
Despite being only 25, the France striker is now joint 12th in the list of all-time Champions League scorers excluding qualifying round one, he is just four goals behind Zlatan Ibrahimović and Andriy Shevchenko to get in the top 10. The winger has scored two Champions League hat-tricks, both away from home.
He has a sensational record for the national side as well. He has scored 46 goals and is third on the list with 10 goals away from his teammate Olivier Giroud. The transfer saga of the winger will be an interesting watch.
