Since phase 2 of Genshin Impact 4.3 banners is just a week away, players need to make another difficult decision regarding which character to pick and which to leave for the future.
The 4.4 banners are set to feature everyone’s favourite all-rounder electro archon Raiden Shogun along with pyro DPS Yoimiya. Both characters are loved plenty by players. However, there is a good chance that those who do not have one will prefer Raiden.
Let’s have a look at what the characters can do best -
Yoimiya
Yoimiya is a single-target bow DPS character that can output some high-damage numbers with the correct build. This includes proper artefacts, weapons and ability upgrades. Support buffs are great, but we are keeping them aside.
While her ultimate ability is fine DPS, people use her skill ability paired with normal attacks. Using her skill ability infuses her normal attack with pyro damage. Her five-hot combo can deal some big damage numbers.
However, since she is a bow DPS character, she often requires other team support to deal with multiple enemies. Lucky for players, she is suitable for any team they make.
Raiden Shogun
Since the addition to the game, Raiden is one of the most powerful characters that can play all three roles of DPS, Sub-Dps and Support. Her kit enables multiple types of play styles and allows players to put Raiden in almost every team.
Even without any constellation, players can easily complete some of the hardest content in the game. Those who were able to get her second constellation can do even more DPS, as her attacks will then bypass 60% of enemy defence. It is one of the most powerful constellation with the lowest investment possible.
One of the biggest advantage Raiden have over Yoimiya is the crowd control ability. Her ability Baleful Omen can target nearby every 1 second with your regular attack, and the ultimate will do massive initial damage while buffing other attacks with electro damage.
Verdict
While it all comes down to preferences, we would advise picking up Raiden for players who do not have her. She takes minimum investment to build while providing multiple teams compositions.
Whichever character players choose, remember, artifact farming will always be a headache but a necessary evil to make your desired character build.
