The upcoming League of Legends World Championship (Worlds) finals are set to take place at the O2 Arena in London. However, the event will kick off at the newly remodelled Riot Games Arena in Berlin.
The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) will run from May 1 to May 19 in Chengdu, China. The schedule for MSI will be announced later on. The winner of the MSI will get a guaranteed spot at Worlds 2024.
Worlds 2024 will commence on September 25 with Play-Ins and Swiss Stages in Berlin. Quarter-finals and Semifinals will be taking place at the Adidas Arena in Paris, France and the Grand Finals in London.
The 2024 regional leagues will start from the following dates -
League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC): Jan 13
Liga Latinoamérica (LLA): Jan 16
League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK): Jan 17
Pacific Championship Series (PCS): Jan 19
League Championship Series (LCS): Jan 20
Vietnam Championship Series (VCS): Jan 20
Campeonato Brasileiro de League of Legends (CBLOL): Jan 20
League of Legends Pro League (LPL): Jan 22

As per new changes, LEC, LCS, LCK, and LPL will have three Worlds slots each. PCS and VCS will have two slots each, and the LLA and CBLOL with one each. The winner of MSI will also count towards an additional slot for their respective region.
Hall of Legends
Apart from the announcement for MSI and Worlds 2024, Riot Games also introduced the LoL Esports Hall of Legends. This is to celebrate players who have made a “lasting impact” in the game and the community.
Currently, the team is collecting votes from a panel of esports industry veterans and experts. Further information on this is not yet revealed.
