PGL Major Copenhagen European RMR A; Teams and match ups

The race for a spot at the first ever Counter Strike (CS) 2 Major will soon be on, with European RMR A of PGL Major Copenhagen. Sixteen teams will take part in the first RMR group of Europe.

The group includes some of the top brass, like FaZe, Natus Vincere, G2,Ninjas in Pyjamas and more. Fans are expecting to see some intense fight among these teams for the first CS2 Major.

Format -

Matchups for the first round have now been decided and will be played in a Swiss System Format. All matches for the first round will be played on February 14. Apart from elimination & advancement matches, all others will be played as best-of-one.

Winners will move to the Round 2 High Matches and the losers in Round 2 Low Matches. This will go on till Round 5 after which the results will be declared. Top eight teams will move to the PGL Major Copenhagen.

Teams in 9th to 11th position will move to the decider bracket, giving them one more chance to qualify for the Major. The decider bracket will also feature three more teams from European RMR B which will also have a similar format. The last five teams in the European RMR will be eliminated from the Major.
