The mood in the Bangalore franchise women's camp is upbeat despite the two consecutive losses in the Women's T20 League, the most recent of which was an embarrassing 9-wicket humiliation at the hands of the Mumbai team. On Tuesday, skipper Smriti Mandhana joined Richa Ghosh and Heather Knight in celebrating Holi.

After two losses, RCB is still in fourth place on the Women's T20 League 2023 standings, although they have not yet registered. Hayley Matthews was named Player of the Match in the last game for her all-around performance. The Caribbean star took three wickets and also scored the match-winning 77 runs in an undefeated innings.

"It is a pretty short tournament, and we can't dwell on it; even in franchise cricket, if you start winning, then you can go on a run," said the Bangalore skipper while speaking to the broadcasters after Monday's defeat.

Mumbai franchise are at the top of the standings in the Women's T20 League

The RCB players, despite the loss, were positive as they celebrated Holi on March 7 in the camp. The England captain Heather tweeted a photo of Richa, and the aforementioned two players painted in colours, which RCB captain Smriti. Players from various franchises were seen in this wonderful celebration. Everyone sent their best wishes to the country's fans, from Grace Harris of Gujarat to Lauren Bell of the UP team.

Although there are only five franchises in the league, games will continue to be played frequently, with Bangalore set to play Gujarat on Wednesday. The Gujarat team has also played two games, although they have not yet opened an account similar to Bangalore. Gujarat, who lost to Mumbai by a score of 143 runs on the season's opening day and then to the UP franchise by three wickets, are still at the bottom of the standings due to a low net run rate. On the other hand, Mumbai are atop the rankings after winning two back-to-back and enjoys a +5.185 net run rate, thanks to their bigger margin of victories.
