Meanwhile, Bangladesh superstar Mohammad Naim Seikh used a different way to train himself. Ahead of the prestigious tournament, he was seen walking on fire to train his mind.

A video posted by the social media manager of the Rangpur Tigers went viral on Twitter. In the viral video, Naim Seikh can be seen walking on fire after getting proper instructions from a Maulana present there. Fans were shocked by this kind of preparation, as they called it dedicated and committed to the team.

It is worth noting that Bangladesh will participate in the prestigious ODI Asia Cup and ODI World Cup under the leadership of ace allrounder Shakib Al Hasan. The Bangladesh Cricket Board appointed him as a stand-in skipper after Tamim Iqbal stepped down from the post. In the last few months, Bangladesh has suffered some turmoil on the field, and the team would like to perform better to vanquish outside noise.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka will host the Asia Cup in 2023

After months of jeopardy, the Pakistan Cricket Board finally decided to organise the ODI Asia Cup in a hybrid model. Pakistan will host four matches, while the other nine games will be played in Colombo. The tournament will kick off with Pakistan taking on Nepal in the opening game at Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan on August 31.

Meanwhile, India will start their campaign against Pakistan on September 2 at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele. On the other hand, Bangladesh will start their campaign against Sri Lanka on August 31 at the same ground. It's worth noting that India is placed in Group A along with Nepal and Pakistan. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan are part of Group B.
