In the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, the 60th match of the season was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Sunday, 14 May. The match was held at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium, RCB performed brilliantly and registered a big win with a margin of 112 runs against RR, and it was Rajasthan's biggest defeat in the history of IPL.

With this defeat, the Sanju Samson-led team are almost out of the playoff round. Meanwhile, after the match, the players of both teams were seen having a good time with each other. However, what caught the fans' attention was the former RCB captain putting his hands on RR's young batter Riyan Parag's shoulder. This act of Kohli shows how much he cares about youngsters, especially youngsters like Parag, who have talent but are unable to convert it into performance.

While Kohli was walking with Parag, another youngster Mahipal Lomor of RCB also came and looking at Parag, said something, and then all three of them started laughing out loud. Lomror is having a great season while playing in the middle order for RCB as he has produced many responsible knocks for the team at the crucial stages.

On the other hand, Parag got a chance to play in the first few matches of the season but despite the opportunity, he failed to perform well and that is why he is not a part of the playing XI of Rajasthan Royals for the last few matches. interestingly, many young players like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Verma have caught everyone's attention with their better performance in just 2 seasons, while Parag could not make his name and his place in the team despite being a part of RR for a long time.

Talking about the 2008 IPL champions, last five games RR lost four of them which is enough to make them out of the playoff race, on the other hand, RCB are very much alive in this tournament with 12 points in 12 matches.
