With less than a month left in the Asia Cup 2023, the English commentary team has been announced. Talking about the team, the likes of Gautam Gambhir, Ravi Shastri, Deep Dasgupta, Sanjay Manjrekar, and Irfan Pathan will be going from India. From Pakistan, the likes of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Ramiz Raja, and Bazid Khan will represent their national side.

On the other hand, Athar Ali Khan, Russel Arnold, and Scott Styris will come from Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand respectively. The tournament will start on August 30 with former champions, Pakistan will take on debutants Nepal. The tournament will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka with India not being allowed to play in Pakistan.

This has led to Sri Lanka being chosen as the neutral venue. Notably, the island nation was set to host the tournament last year. However, due to violent protests and economic slowdown, the tournament was shifted to the UAE although Sri Lanka was the host.
