However, this is not the first time this happened as before this, the social media account of IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was hacked twice. For the first time in September 2021 and for the second time in January 2023. Apart from this, in 2022, another Indian allrounder Krunal Pandya's Twitter account was also hacked.
Washington Sundar is recovering from his hamstring injury
Talking about Sundar, he was last seen in action in the 16th season of IPL, but he was ruled out mid-season due to a hamstring injury. He managed to get only three wickets in seven matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at an average of 48.66 and an economy rate of 8.26. Along with this, he scored 60 runs in seven innings at an average of 15 and a strike rate of 100. While talking about his last international appearance, Sundar was part of the recently concluded ODI series between India and Australia but didn't get a single opportunity to play any match.
Sundar was signed by SRH in the 2022 mega auction but the 16th season of IPL was very bad for them as they finished the tournament at the bottom of the points table. After playing a total of 14 matches, SRH managed to win only 4 matches, while they had to face defeat in 10 matches. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) were crowned as the champions after defeating Gujarat Titans (GT) by 5 wickets in a rain-curtailed final contest.
