Team India have lost the third and final ODI against Australia on Wednesday. With almost a week left for the World Cup, India will take some positives and learnings from their last match defeat, against the Aussies. India have just one injury concern in their squad with all-rounder Axar Patel.

The left-arm spinner was ruled out of the final match of the Asia Cup final. He suffered a left quadriceps strain against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup. Axar also missed the third and final ODI due to his injury and is currently at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.

Ravichandran Ashwin made a sensational comeback in the Australia series. He picked up three wickets in the 2nd ODI and broke a long-held record of India's legendary spinner Anil Kumble. He with those wickets went to 144 wickets against Australia in international cricket. Earlier the record was from Kumble who had 142 wickets against them. He also has the most wickets in ODI cricket against a single opponent.

When we talk about the 15 we are very clear what we want: Rohit Sharma

With the World Cup approaching, the Men in Blue will have to make a decision upon whom to play in case Axar does not get fit in time. Ravichandran Ashwin might become the obvious choice to replace him. Washington Sundar also bowled well in India's loss he did not get any wickets but was economical in his 10 overs. Rohit Sharma said he wanted to give every player to play ahead of the mega event.

He further added, "When we talk about the 15 we are very clear what we want. We are not confused; we know where we are headed as a team. It is a team sport and we want everyone to come and play their part - that's how we win championships. It's about looking after the body and try and stay fresh for the next one and half months."

The 37-year-old addition in subcontinent conditions will be very useful for the two-time World Champions. As the off-spinner is very well experienced with the conditions and situations.
