India beat England in the 2nd Test match in Visakhapatnam by a huge margin of 106 runs to level the 5-match series 1-1. Coming into the day, India required 9 wickets to win and the bowlers got the job done with more than one session still left in the day. Jasprit Bumrah, fresh from a six-wicket haul in the first innings picked up three more scalps and Ravichandran Ashwin too, picked up three to take his wicket tally in Tests to 499.

Speaking to the official broadcaster after the game, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma was lavish in his praise of Bumrah who according to him, has been a champion player for India for a long time now. Sharma also credited Yashasvi Jaiswal who scored a magnificent double-century in the first innings to set up the win for India. "He looks like a good player and understands his game really well. Long way to go for him, has got a lot to offer for our team. Hope he stays humble," he said.

For his sensational bowling performance on what was quite a placid track, Bumrah was adjudged the Player-of-the-Match. He credited his discussions with the skipper, Sharma, for his success. "We discuss certain things. Have been playing with him for a long period of time and so, we know each other," he said.

Dravid was pumped up!

During the game, India's head coach, Rahul Dravid who is usually quite calm and composed, was seen celebrating in an animated way on a number of occasions. One of the instances was when Jasprit Bumrah trapped England's Jonny Bairstow leg before wicket in the 43rd over. The original decision was out but it was reviewed by Bairstow but that didn't help. The dismissal all but ended England's hopes, but it was Dravid's unrestrained roar that truly captured the moment. The image of Dravid's passionate celebration quickly went viral on social media, with fans and pundits praising his infectious enthusiasm.
