India is currently hosting England for a 5-match Test series. The 1st Test has begun in Hyderabad with Ben Stokes winning the toss and elected to bat first. England are currently 215/8 at the end of the 2nd session the bowlers of the Men in Blue made a good comeback. During the game, former India opener Wasim Jaffer roasted ex-England player Kevin Pietersen on social media. The banter always continues between Jaffer and former captain Michael Vaughan and this time it has been with Pietersen.

This came after Pietersen expressed his views on Twitter during the first and second sessions of Day 1 when England chose to bat first in the five-match series opener. Pietersen predicted that England would score 450 runs and declare their innings after openers Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley gave the visitors a strong start. Before the spinners came in, the two put on a 55-run partnership for the first wicket.

The 'Bazball' cricket has so far been a decent one for the visitors as they have played attacking cricket though losing wickets at regular intervals. England, however, lost 5 wickets in the second session, though scoring 107 runs.

Might be a two-day game: Kevin Pietersen

Pietersen said, "England bat. 450/9 declared today?" and then after the losing wicket he changed and said, "Bloody hell!!!! Might be a two-day game!" Jaffer compiled the two tweets as screenshots to roast Pietersen. He wrote on Twitter, "Dinesh Karthik will translate this one for you Kevin Pietersen."

The former English batter was the highest run scorer in 2012/13 when the visitors beat India in India, he scored 338 runs in seven innings at an average of 48.29 and since then no team has beaten the home side as they are on a 16 consecutive series win. Rohit Sharma's side need two wickets to wrap their innings.

Ravindra Jadeja has been the pick of the bowlers as the spinner has picked three wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel have picked two wickets each.
