Hardik Pandya still had more time to get traded
The India all-rounder, despite being retained by the franchise, still had the option of being traded. Apparently, the window trading is still open till December 12, seven days before the auction on December 19. While all 10 teams had announced their retained and released players, Pandya has been traded and the former champions, Titans without taking a player in exchange.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have traded Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore without taking a player in exchange. One can assume that Pandya has been signed to replace Rohit Sharma as skipper in the future.
