Meanwhile, India’s WTC 2023-25 FTP (Future Tours Program) is announced as the Indian team is set to play 19 matches in the next WTC cycle. India will be playing their 10 matches at home while 9 will be played away. They will host England, Bangladesh, and New Zealand at home while playing their away Test against West Indies, South Africa, and Australia.
The next WTC cycle will take place from June 16
It’d be historical if India once again perform well in the upcoming edition and qualify for the 3rd consecutive time in the final. However, they suffered a loss against New Zealand in the inaugural season but aiming to win the title this time. Talking about the WTC 2023-25 cycle, the 3rd edition is all set to kick off on June 16 with the Ashes series between Australia and England, and the cycle is scheduled to end in June 2025. A total of 27 series and 68 matches will be played in the WTC 2023-25 league stage. The top two teams will qualify for the final which will likely be played at the iconic Lord's in London.
