Chennai Super Kings CEO has confirmed that MS Dhoni will be playing in the 2024 Indian Premier League. The CSK skipper has garnered a lot of attention because it was believed that the 2023 IPL would be MS Dhoni's last. But in an interview at the toss to Danny Morrison he said that he would be coming back and 2023 will not be his last season.
MS Dhoni had also conveyed to Suresh Raina that he would look to steer CSK to what would be their fifth IPL title. Raina also said that MS Dhoni said to him he would do that and also play for one more year. The crowds at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium have been thronging in large numbers to see MS Dhoni bat. CSK fans have come in large numbers for away games. They thought this would be the last time that they catch a glimpse of MS Dhoni.

They have seven wins and five losses. and are on 15 points. MS Dhoni has led CSK to four IPL titles and they have made it to the playoffs 11 times.
