Pakistan cricket team were brutally trolled on social media as England defeated the Babar Azam-led side by 26 runs in the second match of the three-match Test series.  Pakistan have also lost the 3-match Test series 0-2, with one match still to go.

This is England’s first series win in Pakistan for 22 years, and the first time they have won two matches in a series here.  A win here for both teams was very important as this was England's first trip for a Test series in Pakistan in 17 years.

Ben Stokes trusted his bowlers to win the game, staying patient and keeping himself out of the attack either because of his wonky left knee. Mark Wood played the crucial hand on the last day with four for 65, crushing Pakistan just when they thought they had a chance. It was close for comfort, and a moment of controversy that went England’s way and will leave Pakistan fuming as they reflect on a 26-run defeat.

Brilliant bowling performance by England

Talking about the match, England captain stokes opted to bat after winning the toss and the approach was the same as in the first test, batting with a high strike rate. However, opener Zak Crawley was dismissed on 19 in the 9th over of the 1st inning. England were bowled out at 281 runs with Ben Duckett being the highest run scorer of the inning.

England displayed a brilliant performance with the bowl as they dismissed all Pakistan batters on the score of 202 runs. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam scored 75 runs and Jack Leach from the Three Lions was the highest wicket-taker, dismissing 4 batters. With the help of Harry Brook's sensational ton, England set a target of 355 runs for Pakistan in the final innings.

 Chasing a target of 355 runs, Pakistan could only muster up a total of 328 runs in the second innings of the second Test in Multan. Saud Shakeel led the scoring charts for the hosts, scoring 94 runs while Imam-ul-Haq (60), Mohammad Nawaz (45), and Abdullah Shafique (45) also played important knocks.
